Digital Camera Magazine review – bad customer service and gift not received

In November 2014 I subscribed the Digital Camera Magazine. I was promised to receive the subscription gift which was a camera backpack.

2 months later, in January, when I still had no backpack from them, I decided to send them an email and ask for the gift.

The message which I received:

 

Dear Subscriber,

Thank you for your recent email.

Please accept my sincere apologies for the delay in receiving your subscription gift.

Unfortunately the stock has been delayed and we are still awaiting further deliveries. We do hope to dispatch the gift within the next 28 working days.

I would like to assure you that this is not the normal service we wish to portray and that this delay is totally out of our control. However we do understand the unnecessary inconvenience that this is causing our subscribers and hope to rectify it as soon as possible.

I am truly sorry for the frustration this has caused and do hope that you are enjoying the magazine.

Happy with the answer I waited till the end of February and I send them an email again. This time I did not receive any answer at all.

Today, 14 of March 2015 I sent them another email asking for the backpack.

I hope I will receive the answer.
