My South Downs Way Cycling in 1 Day

I have done the South Downs Way in 1 day and… I am not going to do it again 🙂 I am not a professional cyclist, I am good commuter from to work 🙂 One day I decided to ride through the whole South Downs Way in one go. Because I have never, ever done anything similar, few weeks before the final ride I decided to do a small bit from Cocking to Washington and then I back. It was roughly 2 x 20 miles ride with a lot of small and big hills and climbs. It took a bit over 4 hours for me so I knew that I can try to do the whole SDW in one go.

Marriotts Way – My Wildlife Photography

Today (Saturday) I decided to try a new (for me) cycle track called Marriott’s Way. It starts in Norwich near Halfords and leads to Aylsham. It is a 26 mile cycle route! The way is for walkers, cyclist and horse riders.

Today, during my trip I saw many interesting landscapes and wild animals like birds, rabbits and also horses, rams and donkeys.

I finished my journey in Whitwell / Reepham which is about 15 miles from the point where Marriott’s Way starts.
