This is a timelapse video showing disassembling of my old 1931 Garrard clock. I was preparing the clock for cleaning and oiling. I was not very confident during this process because it was the first time when I disassembled clock like that 🙂
The reason I had to do it was that the clock a few months ago started to struggle and finally a short time after that it just stopped working…
Anyway, I had not a very big choice but try myself, because the clock is worth about £30…40 and the professional cleaning by the watchmaker costs about £70 at least.

On 14th of August on the car boot sale I bought another striking clock from thirties. I paid only £17.50 🙂 A few days ago I sent this clock to my mum.

Today I bought on the car boot sale a lovely striking old clock – Garrard from 1931. The clock beautifully strikes hours and has an internal pendulum. I am really happy with this purchase 🙂
