Old Garrard Clock from 1931 disassembling for cleaning and oiling

This is a timelapse video showing disassembling of my old 1931 Garrard clock. I was preparing the clock for cleaning and oiling. I was not very confident during this process because it was the first time when I disassembled clock like that 🙂

The reason I had to do it was that the clock a few months ago started to struggle and finally a short time after that it just stopped working…

Anyway, I had not a very big choice but try myself, because the clock is worth about £30…40 and the professional cleaning by the watchmaker costs about £70 at least.

Anyway – last night after couple of hours I successfully put all parts back and the clock works perfectly 🙂 I am quite proud 🙂
