About the software


If you are here for the first time, I encourage you to practise completely free (no hassles), available in full version, online system for learning English vocabulary, or any other languages. The system is designed to keep you asking about each specific word until you give correct answers.
What is different between my and others systems?

This vocabulary learning system allows you to:

  • learning vocabulary in any language - you enter your vocabulary and define its language;
  • asking you in "any direction" - for example from English to Spanish or from Spanish to English. I suggest using the default direction, which is the translation from native to foreign language;
  • the system assumes that the five time correct answer given to one particular word means you already know it perfectly. This number can change the configuration page. If after two or three correct answers you do mistake, the system will reset the counter for the good answers and the "fun" begins again. I recommend keeping at least 100 unrecognised words, too less words will have you queried about the same words too often;
  • due to the fact that people often commit a typo errors, or give the synonym of the word required, the system allows "conditional" passing response and avoid getting reset the counter of good answers. Remember, if you cheat - you cheat on yourself;
  • Everyone MUST manually enter their own vocabulary. There is no possibility of obtaining ready-made database of vocabulary. But it is precisely the point that everyone has different requirements!



    Registration


    Due to the fact that everyone use their own vocabulary base, access to it must be protected. To use the system, register you free account HERE. You only have to provide your login, password and email.

    Privacy policy


    To register on my website you have to provide your username, password and valid email address. In addition, you must specify your native language and the language you want to learn. Data such as name and gender are only optional. I will not send any kind of spam, advertising, etc. To the email provided maybe I will only send information such as notices about new features in this software. Email will not be published nor passed to anyone else.


    Improving the system - see what I plan


    The system was given to the public use on 15 January 2012. It is not yet completely finished. I know that maybe even some features of the software system should work better but I am still improving this and I am open for user feedbacks and suggestions.

    The most urgent thing to implement in future versions of the system:

    • add the ability to search and sort the vocabulary in the management panel;
    • add the ability to purge the counter of correct answers in the control panel;;
    • add the ability to completely clear the database with vocabulary, at this moment is possible to delete only individual words;
    • add the possibility to import / export databases between this software users;
    • currently there is not possible to delete a user account, you can do so by contacting me;
    • create links to external websites for grammar and pronunciation;
    • create a box "tell your friend";
    • create statistics;
