..:: RSS - instant info about my new posts ::..

I would advise all visitors that the RSS feed is available on my website.

If you do not know what it is, I will try to explain it in a few words.

In short - if any of your favourite pages will be updated, you will be immediately informed. What do you need? Only an RSS reader. I use e-mail program Outlook:

As you can see I subscribe for tests reason: BlogIP, my own website, pl.comp.bazy-data pl.comp.lang.php, Computer Tips [...]. Information about new posts or articles come to me as new emails :-)

Of course, the web has to offer the channel(s) feeds. You can find out about it easily. In most cases, the authors inform the parties of their users about RSS feeds using the icons such as the following, or similar:

Web developers often offer several RSS feeds: for all messages, the messages of the chapter, can often follow a specific article feeds to be notified about comments such as added by the Internet.

Why do not simply enter the web site and see what new is on it? Of course, you can. But what if you need / want to check 100 websites a day? Entering daily on dozens of websites and check what new has been written, it is not convenient. RSS really helps.

What if I want to subscribe to feeds and do not use Outlook? There are a lot of readers including free such as FeedReader, CafeNews, Sage - extension for FireFox browser, and many, many others - look on google. Well at least Internet Explorer version 7 and 8 provide a pseudo RSS reader:

- All the current interests in one place
- Control of many sources of informations
- Simplicity and convenience
- Use of certain RSS readers like Google Reader, facilitates the use of the content we are interested in mobile phones and other portable devices
